The IRD Executive Committee Meeting was successfully held today, 15 January 2026, at our Battaramulla office. The meeting was chaired by Dr Godwin Kodituwakku (Chairman), with the presence of our Director, Prof. Athula Sumathipala; Deputy Director, Dr. Sudath Samaraweera; Prof. Gominda Ponnamperuma (Secretary); Dr. Nihal Abeysinghe; Dr. D A R K Dayarathne; Dr. Kaushalya Jayaweera; and Dr. Hemantha Lankarathne.
The committee engaged in productive discussions to further strengthen research and development in health and social care.
